| In her own words: "In 1991 I won my first International medal; I became German National Champion and won silver at the World Junior Championships in the same year. I went on to win Gold in the 1992 and the 1993 Junior World Championships in the single. In the Senior World Championships I won my first gold in 1994 in the 4x. In 1996 I won my last international medal in a 4x by winning the Atlanta Olympics. And am now back in the single once again, finishing 2nd behind Ekatarina Karsten in the 1x at the 1999 World Championships. I will finish my fashion School in 2001; my hobbies are of course fashion, drawing and sport." | ![]() | |
